What
is a Junior Team Tennis Coach ?
Coaches
may be teaching professionals, high school or college coaches, park
instructors, interested parents with tennis experience, or others
who have some coaching and tennis background.
Young
people often look up to their coaches and managers as role models,
advisors, and friends. With this in mind the USTA has developed
Coaches' workshops and support materials to educate coaches and
managers in coaching philosophies, motivation, team management,
stroke production and strategy. Information regarding these workshops
and support materials are available from your USTA
New England Community Coordinators.
